Information regarding Outstanding Warrants
If you would like to clear a warrant, we accept credit card and debit card payments by phone (409) 787-2251. Please note there is a $6 fee charged for credit card payments by phone. You may also come in to city hall to make your payment in cash, money order, or credit card, or you can mail your payment (money order) to:

Also, please note that the City of Hemphill Municipal Court now turns in any outstanding warrants, failure to appears, violate promise to appears, or default on payment plans over to a collection agency, and once it is turned over to this collection agency a collection agency fee is added to the amount owed for each charge, which results in additional money owed by the defendant.
