If your electricity goes out or you need to report a gas or water leak after hours, please contact the following numbers:

PLEASE CALL FOR LINE LOCATES BEFORE YOU DIG!!!!

If you smell an odor you think is gas in your home, DO NOT turn on lights, use your telephone or ignite any flames.  Get out of your home and call City Personnel or 911.

If smell a gas odor outside your home, DO NOT expose a flame to the leaking gas.  Call City Personnel or 911 immediately. 

If you decide to dig in your yard and do not know where your gas or water lines are located, CALL BEFORE YOU DIG!!!!

Make sure gas heaters are properly vented, which means completely through the roof.

Be very careful when installing a gas water heater in a garage or other area where combustible liquids are stored.  A stand of at least 18 inches high must hold your water heater off the floor in these types of areas.
